Travel Info What is the weather like in the orlando area during the last week of October? We will be there from Oct24th-31st, what type of clothes should we bring? Do we still need to slap on the sunblock? Thanks Travel Tips Average temp for Oct. for Orlando is highs-mid 80's and lows-mid 60's. I live just outside Orlando in Kissimmee. May need a long sleeve shirt or light jacket at night time. Yes bring the sunblock =). You can get sun burned here pretty much year round...I have been sun burned in Jan and other winter months here. Others You can't always tell. Its usaully still warm like in the 60's & 7o's/80's. We went once though and we packed for hot weather and it turn out to be cold and very windy. So, you never know. lol Just pack for both extremes. I don't think it hardly gets could in October though that was just weird. Always bring a sweater just in case though. My Aunt lives near there so we go there a lot. The weather is beautiful this time of year (70's). Shorts and T-shirts will usually be good for outside during the day. At night you will want jeans and maybe a hoodie. Let me add that this is one of the best times to visit; fewer crowds and cooler weather. By the way don't let the cooler weather fool you. You will still want sunblock if outside. yes, bring the sunblock. The sun is always blazing here during the day. I have lived here for 16 years now and i can only remember two Halloween's that were cold, and by cold I mean 50's, at night. Otherwise the days are still in the 80's. October can be the most beautiful month of the year in this area. The water is warm and the night get cooler. Bring the usual summer clothes and make sure you put a light sweater just in case and yes you will need the sunblock. Sunblock is a must, no matter what time of year. The weather will hopefully be a bit cooler at the end of October, and by cooler I mean in the 80s rather than 90s! However, at night it will most likely be cool enough for long pants and a light sweater/jacket. Have fun!! lifetime resident |
