Can a Florida resident give away their Disney tickets?

Travel Info
I have a friend who lives in Florida. She may be able to get some Disney World tickets with her FL ID. A. Does anyone know how much the tickets are for FL residents? B. Can she do this and not get caught? (Hello, trying to save money here!)

Travel Tips
Yes, your friend can get the tickets but she will have to go to the ticket window and buy them. She can do this anytime the tickets are not activated until the first time you go throught he gate. Once you buy them they will not ask for proof of ID again. However, the first time you go through the gate they will record your finger print and only that person can use the ticket from then on.
My husband's friends came down about a month ago. I went and bought the tickets the day before I told them that I was buying them for myself, my husband and my kids. Nonone questioned me. We all went the next day with the same names on all the tickets (I have annual passes) and we had no problems.

FL resident tickets are about $60 for a one day pass.
Proof of residency is required. They don't send you the actual tickets. You have to go to the will call window and show your FL ID to exchange the certificate that they sent you for a ticket. Tickets have the day printed on them, so you can't just buy a stack of them and then sell them on ebay.

The other answer is right, you would have the problem when you went to pick them up.

Unless your friend went with you to pick them up you wouldn't be able to get them, unless you can some way show that you are a Florida resident. For example, have an ID that matches a bill of some sort or anything like that, but it is nearly impossible to get by unless you are a resident.

If you are going for more than one day, check out AAA. I believe you need to get a 4 day pass before you can get a discount, but it saves something. Just make sure you save more than the cost of the membership, if you aren't already a member.
