Beaches in florida? |
Travel Info tell me all the awesome beaches in florida?? I am in the melbourne area . No rocks, clear water and people watching is what i want. I, also want to know where is the beaches that have clear blue water that you can see underneath? Travel Tips Gotta say Melbourne Beach is really nice. Siesta Beach over in Sarasota Florida has water that is see through and sand like as if it was salt. Others Destin or Fort Walton has the clearest water in florida, its very family oriented an a very clean town I go every year its about a hour west of Panama City Dude , I live in Satellite beach which is right across the bridge from melbourne . Thats kinda weird . Siesta Key is what you are looking for. This is my favorite beach in all of Florida and was named Florida's #2 Beach by the Travel Channel in 2006. It is popular for its super soft, baby powder like sand - the purest and most white sand you will find in the United States, derived from the Appalachian (sp?) Mountains! There is plenty of people watching at this beach and the water is a gorgeous turquoise (sp again?). Siesta Key is located in Sarasota, FL... about an hour and 45 minute drive south of Orlando. Enjoy! Im going to tell you right of the bat your going to have to go the the carribean to see the true clear blue ocean but if you can only make it to florida deffinetly do NOT go on the gulf side it always brown and nasty the best would be the southeast tip of florida wich would be MIAMI BEACH. good luck been there done that |
