What are the must see attractions/shows/rides in Universal Studios and IOA, Orlando in one day? |
Travel Info We are a group of 4 adults (25 yrs old) We have got a 1 day 2 park pass with Express pass option. We are going there on June 29th Saturday. Please let us know what are the rides/ shows that we should prioritize in our trip. Your inputs would help us plan better. Thanks Travel Tips IOA - The Hulk Roller Coaster and Spiderman are usually 60 - 75 mins even at 10 A.M. So it's gonna be a long wait for them. Dueling Dragons Roller Coaster is usually a short wait most of the day, especially in the Morning. Its about ten minutes then. Doctor Dooms Freefall is some times 45-60 minutes late in the day. There are three water rides. Jurassic Park River Adventure, Ripsaw Falls, and Popeyes Rapids(I forgot the name). Jurassic Park earlier in the day is usually a longer wait than it is late in the day. Ripsaw Fall's waits also usually go down later in the day to 15 minutes, sometimes you just walk through the line, no problems. Popeyes Rapids are little bit higher sometimes, to like 30 minutes throughout the day. The other rides I didn't mention were Poisedon adventure (show) SInbad (Show) Pteradon Flyers (impossible for you to go on unless you kidnap a child). I also didnt mention lots of kiddie rides at Dr Suess land which are unimportant. This was all about IOA, which, if your ride junkies, should take up more of your day. EDIT: The tower of terror is NOT in Universal or IOA, like the post above me says. Source(s): Experience. Other Travel Tips The Hulk, Spiderman, Deuling Dragons, Shrek 4D,Dr Doom Tower of terror, City Walk, Love, Love, Love universal! Do you like roller coasters or calmer rides? If you don't waste time and have the express pass, it is possible to ride most of the rides in one day. I recommened getting a park map before you go and studying it. Map out the rides you have to do. A must for me is Spiderman Islands of Adventure. I usually do it EARLY because it gets a long line. My husband loves the Hulk, another early one to do. I would do Island of Adventures first, then head over to the original park. We have been going to Universal Studios at least once a year for the past 7-8 years and still love it. There isn't anything I would say to miss purposley. Like I said earlier, depending on what you like (rollercoasters, shows, etc), get a map of the parks and try to map out what you want to do. If you have time at the end of the day, you can catch the stuff you missed. The Shrek show is great also! Terminator is one I can do without but I know alot of people do like it. I love ET and Back to the Future in the old park but I heard they closed one of them. Just have fun. Wear comfy shoes (something without socks if you plan on water rides)and don't miss any of the water rides, I love Popeyes and Duddley Do Rights! |
