Population of Orlando (city only) 180,000 - Police on duty at any given time 700 (that includes desk jobs and special positions). 3. Other Travel Tips Because people from all over move to Florida and with that come some of the bad. The biggest reason I believe is because of the drug flow that comes through the state. Florida is the entry point for all of the drugs out of the Caribbean. Also the pay scale in Orlando is very low. People who move here find they can not make it with the salary they have and the cost of living. Some of them get desperate and do crazy things. I live in Orlando. I believe because their is way to much people in O-town and they need to reduce the amount of people in there someway. Problems tend to trigger when there is alot of people in one area. Another reason can be that because everybody in FL goes to Orlando so for that reason, all those bad people from the bad parts of Florida go there and cause problems |
