Where is the best place to stand to watch the WDW parade in main street Magic Kingdom? |
Travel Info Where is the best place to stand to watch the WDW parade in main street Magic Kingdom? Travel Tips your in luck!!! im a cast member on main street. the best place to view in my opinion is from the train station second level, if you get there early enough there are chairs up there and you can view the parade starting all the way down from the castle its fun to take pictures that way. however if you have kids and want to be more interactive and guarantee to shack the hand of one of the characters i suggest getting a seat in town square (thats from emporium around to expo hall in front of the train station, or city hall. its a wider area so you see the parade for a little bit longer, and thats the end of the afternoon parade route, and they take a little bit more time there. the night parade starts on main street and ends in frointeirland, but town square is still the best place for any parade hope you have a 'magical time'!!! Others in the firts row, near to the main plaza It is the least crowded at the end of the parade route, and often off duty castmembers hang out there, so the parade performers tend to perk up a bit. HAVE FUN! "crazy girl" is right.. the top level of the train station is the best.. and here is a priceless tip. Hold on to the rope (or the rail if your at the train station) because believe it or not people from some other countries don't understand "first come first serve" and they will walk up right before the parade starts and squeeze in between you and the rope. I know it sounds crazy but I have seen it happen a dozen times. Oh and once a man actually sat his son on top of my shoes because I standing at the rope... which was crazy because that meant he was sticking out past the rope. So I was forced to step back so he would be safe. Of course in my mind I wanted to punt the kid like a football.. but I'm no scofflaw. http://www.orlandofloridasucks.com... Actually the best place to stand is in frontierland. The parade passes through there first and it is much less crowded cause everyone is on main street I prefer standing or sitting toward the head of Main Street (I.E. near the main entrance or Fire Station). This way, you have a head start on the crowds if you wish to leave early or immediately following the parade. Another great location (but must be staked out early) is right in front of Casey's Corner Hot Dog place (restaurant). My personal favorite is Boma-Flavors of Africa. This all-you-can-eat buffet, located at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, features creative cuisine from Pacific Rim countries like Africa and Egypt! If you like trying new things, this restaurant is for you. Be sure to try to fu-fu (tastes like pumpkin pie) and the Zebra Cakes for dessert. They also have prime rib, chicken fingers, mac n cheese, pb&j, etc... for kids and picky eaters. Be sure to visit http://www.easybreezyplanning....
