How strict is Disney World on age limits - 2 or 3 year old? |
Travel Info My daughter is turning 3 the day before we start the trip. We initially scheduled the trip so her birthday would be at the end of the Disney vacation, but had to bump it back a week due to scheduling conflicts in our group. We haven't bought her a ticket, wondering if it's a big deal??? Does Disney check these things that closely? Travel Tips If your wife gives birth in the line waiting to get in to the park, they will charge you for the newborn. The park was built with kids in mind, so they will for sure charge you a ticket price for the 2 to 3 year old. If there is a price difference, you could always lie... Check out their website for height restrictions. I can tell you from experience that they will be militant about it. You can't take your daughter on the more agressive rides, but you should be ok on many of them. Disney is a great place! Enjoy!Disney posts age and height restrictions at every park/ride. They are pretty strict, with good reason, to make sure kids meet certain requirements, or at least warn parents if a ride is risky or perhaps might scare small young children. Still, there are rides/activities that a 3 year old would still enjoy that are not age/height restrictions....just plan to keep to those venues that are more Small Kid Friendly. Good Luck and Have Fun. I really don't think they will check it that closely - what are they going to do, ask her for her driver's license? You aren't required to show them a birth certificate or anything. But you will most likely be asked and you will have to out-and-out lie about it. Probably not something you want to do. You can always call Disney to ask for sure. here is a trick stick her in a stroller cover her legs with a light blanket and if they ask just say she is 2 if they ask her tell her to tell them she is 2 and if they still don't believe you then most likely your going to have to pay for a ticket when you get to the park. As for as I know it is by your word. I have never been asked for a social security number of Birth Certificate. no, i am 13 and my sister is 10 and every year i am 2 years behind my normal age, and she is too because it is cheaper. But there is no price difference for a 2 or 3 year old, so just say she is 2. my family has been there 7 times together, and we do this every time we go (shhh...haha!). So no, they are not strict at all. they don't have time to focus on each person's individual age, especially a child that young. hope this helped and have fun!! |
