What is the best All-Star resort of the four in Disneyworld? |
Travel Info When I went with my family , we stayed at Music resort. Travel Tips All of the value resorts are pretty comparable. However, I feel that Pop Century (being the newest) is the nicest choice of them. Not only is it the newest resort, but also has its own transportation which meaning getting around is easier and faster. The three All Star resorts all share a bus, which can make it a little slower. The All Star Music has been refurbished, so it is pretty nice as well, but you still have the transporation issues. As far as price, all the value resorts are the same price. Most people that have their own transportation, or don't mind about the buses will choose based on theme over anything. But, the prices are all the same price, this is true for the moderates as well, once you get into deluxe resorts and villas is when you have the price changes for the different resorts. As far as food, I would say it is pretty comparable at each, you have a food court which offers different types of food (the different food types are set up like different restaurants) Overall I think they are pretty much a like, I would say that Pop Century would be my first choice, then Music, then Movies and last would be the Sports (oldest of the values and need of some refurbishment, in my opinion. Hope this helps! Others I stayed at the Music resort too. It's spartan, but for the money it's a bargain as far as Disney accommodations are concerned. I have stayed at the Music as well and it was fine. Although, The Pop Century is newer and a little nicer. Remember, Disney doesn't really cut corners on anything they do. My family and I go every year and we have stayed at a different Disney Resort each time from Value to Deluxe. We have never had a bad experience. No matter where you chose to leave your luggage, take a shower, and catch a few hours of sleep just remember, that is all you will do in your room. You will hardly ever be there. Have Fun! It was great - several pools, all with different themes and some with a kids wading pool. Every building have a different theme. We stayed in Toy Story and in the courtyard it was set up like Andy's bedroom. They have several other themed building like Fantasia, Dalmatians, and many others. There was a food court with many different options as well. We will stay at that hotel again next time we go. The pop century is the newest of the 4 so it has bigger & cleaner rooms. Also the pop century is on its own transportation line while the 3 all-star resorts all share the same one. Also the All-stars will have more children while the pop-sentury will have more adults simply becuase the all-stars are more fun for kids then the pop century.
