Animal Kingdom in Orlando? |
Travel Info Do you have to buy tickets for disney to get into see the Animal kingdom, or can you just buy tickets for Animal kingdom and bypass disney? We really dont want to go to disney...but would like to see Animal Kingdom Travel Tips Disney World is divided into separate parks. Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM, Animal Kingdom, Blizzard Beach Water park, Typhoon Lagoon and then there is also Downtown Disney. Although, you said you have no desire to go to Disney I think you are thinking of the Magic Kingdom which has more things geared toward little children. However, if you bought a park hopper ticket you would not be sorry. There are so many things that you, your husband, and 15 year old would enjoy in all of the parks. We go all the time with a 13 year old. My husband and I will continue to go when our three children are all grown. We will be the little old people on a commercial. HA! HA! Others Animal Kingdom is a Disney theme park, and is located in the Walt Disney World Resort (there's also Magic Kingdom, Epcot & MGM Studios). You'll need to purchase a ticket for admission to Animal Kingdom. Visit http://www.disneyworld.com/ for more info. I'm not quite sure I understand your question, but I will give it a shot. Animal Kingdom is one of the four parks at Disney (Magic Kingdom, EPCOT and MGM as well) In order to get into the park you will need to have a pass, but you can just use your ticket to go to Animal Kingdom if that is what you prefer to do. You can buy a pass ahead of time, online or with your travel agent, or you can buy your ticket at the gate when you get to Animal Kingdom. Once you have your pass, you can choose to just go to Animal Kingdom with all your passes, hop around if you get a hopper, or go to different parks on different days, whatever you choose. Disney also have the Animal Kingdom Lodge, which is their resort with animals out on a savannah, very nice resort. If you just want to look around, maybe eat, etc. you can go to the resort without a ticket or anything. Just tell security you are there for dinner or to look around. Hope this answers your question. Let me know if you need any other help! you can buy in the from of the park well...how would you not want to go to disney, and just go to animal kingdom? animal kingdom is part of disney. You can buy tickets there, but the prices are crazy and the lines are LONG!! you can buy tickets for animal kingdom only though, and not every other park if that is what you mean. I think you should also go to epcot, and skip animal kingdom. It is my lest faveorite park and i have been there7 times, and am going back for my 8th februrary 2008...have fun though!! Disney's Animal Kingdom is one of the four Disney theme parks at Walt Disney World. The four Disney parks include Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom. You can purchase a basic one-day/one-park ticket in person at the park entrance. You can also purchase your tickets in advance online at: http://www.disneyworld.com or by calling 407-WDW-INFO I dont understand what you mean by "bypass Disney" because Disney's Animal Kingdom is a Disney theme park. Walt Disney World is a gigantic property with four theme parks, 20+ resorts, and tons of recreation and enterntainment, its the largest vacation resort in the world. Here is a direct link to the Disney's Animal Kingdom website: http://www.animalkingdom.com Have Fun! Animal Kingdom is part of Disney. There are 4 parks in all. Animal Kingdom, MGM, Epcot and the Magic Kingdom. I'm sure you made the same mistake some people make and think the Magic Kingdom is Disney World. That's not true, Its part of Disney World. :) You have to do to Disney to get to Animal Kingdom. There you can get tickets. Hope this helps! |
