Travel Info Has to be nice and clean Travel Tips Lived in Orlando many years, so if you are going to Disney, go thru the expedia, orbitz type to book a hotel. They really have the best deals. If you are just visiting O, try botique hotels, or hotel, motels in O...stay away from orange blossom trail. Look at the O chamber of commerce site, you'll see a bunch, and that will get you away from the big hotels who spend so much to direct your attention to their hotel. When in orlando be sure to get outside Disney if you have time, O is really a beautiful town, as well as Winter Park, a close to O town, very preppy, small, rich, and cool to visit, grab a cup of coffee and check out how you would live if you had $$. If you like cuban food Numero Uno on orange ave. is great, O has a lot of chain rest. which I think is yuck, all around Disney is chain, double yuck. You may think of renting a place with a kitchen, you will drop a huge bundle on food, and it is mostly yuck, with long lines for the yuck. We came here from another motel and were just thrilled of the overall presentation. The lady at the desk was super nice , helpful in every way. Even the security guard was kind and helpful. The good thing about Orlando, is that it has many affordable hotels. There's even Kissimmee and St Cloud. However personally, I recommend staying either on Hwy 192, Lake Buena Vista or International Drive. As far a hotel choices, depending on how many people are in your party, you can stay at a nice 2-star hotel or there are also villas or condos that are very affordable as well.
