International drive or lake buena vista (downtown disney)?? |
Travel Info where is better to stay in orlando, florida? Travel Tips You want to stay at Lake Buena Vista... I-drive is a two lane road that is grid locked almost all day during tourist season. Even if your going to Univeral you can just take the interstate and get off at the Universal exit. There is tons of stuff to do at LBV.. I drive is just a bunch of crapy tourist traps. http://www.orlandofloridasucks.com... Others It just depends on where you plan to spend your time. If you're going to be visiting Disney World, then stay in the Lake Buena Vista area, or in Kissimmee. Otherwise, if you'll be spending most of your time at Universal, then stay in the I-Drive area. Have fun! International Drive is much better Downtown Disney. It is easier and quicker to get to all the attractions from there. Also fewer crimes. Orlando is a great city with full of diversity. Lake Buena Vista is a very nice area, plenty of shops and restaurants and lots of Hotels too. All of them very conveniently located to Walt Disney World. Lake Buena Vista is only 10-15mins away from I-Drive, in fact, it may be even closer depending of what part of I-Drive! International Drive also is a great location. Not as close to Disney as Lake Buena Vista, but offers many restaurants, things to do and see, and plenty of hotels. I-Drive is a very famous touristic area, and a lot of travelers come visit. I personally recommend staying on International Drive rather than Disney. You can pick a hotel near to Lake Buena Vista and still get Free Transportation from the Hotel to Disney and even to Universal and Sea World. Basically, it would be very centrally located to everything!
