Whats the best/nonbest resorts to stay in Disneyworld? Is it a better deal to get the room/tickets package?

Travel Info
We're going soon and I just want to know what worked out best for everyone.

Travel Tips
Well, I really loved Coronado Springs Resort at Disney World. It's one of those in between places. The scenery is really beautiful. And if you have kids, the pool has a huge water slide. And when every thing is lit up at night by the lake, its breath taken.

I totally, whole heartily, 100% think that the room/tickets prices are worth it. Because when you get to the hotel, they give you this card you bring to the parks with you. All you have to do is slide it in and then your in!

No matter what though, it's best to stay at any of the resorts. Shuttle buses come and pick you up so you don't have to drive to the park! And thats a HUGE plus!! :)

If you go to Disney's web sight they have a list of resorts and prices.

I hope this has helped you somewhat! :) Good luck on finding a resort, and have a blast when you go! I love Disney so much that sometimes I wish I lived there!!! Source(s): EXPERIENCE!!
Other Travel Tips
Depends on where you expect to spend the most time. Contemporary Resort is on the Monorail line close to Magic Kingdom. there are several other monorail stations along the route with different themes.

I found Boardwalk Inn adjacent/walking distance to EPCOT/World Showcase. Since I normally go during October-November during the International Food and Wine Festival, it's an easy resort to get to after spending day of walking around World Showcase tasting wine.

Boardwalk Inn also in on the Water-taxi route to go to MGM..

If you have a large family and want something more affordable, try the Music or Sports themed resorts...they still have the same Disney atmosphere.

All resorts have ground transportation (bus) that you can take to any of the theme parks/attractions on the WDW complex.

Good Luck and have fun.
We like to split our stays between resorts and parks. Say we do 2 days in the Magic Kingdom. There our favorite resort is the Polynesian. It is so beautiful. The convenience of being on the monorail also can't be beat. There is also a ferry to the MK that leaves straight from the dock of the resort. The concierge level is terrific, a great way to spoil yourself, and a nice extra with beers, wines and different liquors put out nightly. The lounge is a great place to relax, eat, drink, and enjoy the fireworks.
Then we might move over to 2 days in Epcot. There we like the Yacht and Beach Club. Their pool is fantastic! With a lazy river, whirlpool, water slide and beach area you'll have a hard time leaving the pool to go into the park. Epcot is within walking distance of the resort and you can see the fireworks from the resort's beach area. There is also a ferry to take you over to the Boardwalk. YBC's concierge is also very nice, the lounge is just a little small.
2 nights in Animal Kingdom come next and once again you get to enjoy another beautiful resort and basically be in the park at the same time.
As far as ticket and room package, the main thing is that it makes it nice to have everything on just one key. Your room key will just do it all -- you can even charge on it. The dining plan is nice, and a lot of food, including the tip.
