Have you ever Stayed at Disney Worlds Grand Floridian Resort and Spa? |
Travel Info I'm going in a couple of weeks and just wondering what you thought of the place. Did you have fun while you were there? Did you enjoy the room, pools, and resturants there? Thanks for your time. Travel Tips It is absolutely beautiful. The grounds, the rooms, the spa... ahhh..it's heaven and the monorail drops you right off at the park. The restaurant Narcoosee's is wonderful and you can watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks compelte with surround sound music right from the dock. There is also a water parade at night. You can rent boats (really affordable) in the morning and eat your breakfast right on the lakeThe Grand Floridian is one of the finest hotels in Disney. I have stayed there and the service is unparalleled.The rooms are delightful. One draw back in that the pool is pretty simple but you also have access to a beach and to the monorail. Going to Disney can be a very costly adventure. Go to a book store and buy a few books to plan your vacation.There are also some web sites.They will describe all the hotels on site so you have the info you need to decide where you'd like to stay. This place is too big to just wander around wanting for something fun to happen. You cannot over plan. P.S. Can I come too ? Have a great time No, but it was near my hotel, and it was absolutely gorgeous, my friend stayed there and loved it. being at cast member at wdw that is the finest if not the finest hotel on property however the most expensive out there. if you want your trip to be 4 stars stay there, however the way i look at it how much time do you really spend at the hotel, isnt most ofyour time at the parks? if you still want TOP resorts but save a fewbucks i suggest, yacht and beach club, port orleans riverside, fort wilderness lodge. pros of grand floridian- on loop of monorail to magic kingdom, and can take monorail from there to TTC to epcot. cons price, honestly its overly priced. and for extra stuff its just the beach which yacht and beach clubs is WAY bettter. have fun either way, any hotel you cant go wrong all are great! |
