Travel Info did the ride it's a small world close at magic kingdom in walt disney world in florida. i havnt been there since 2002. has anyone been there recently and wants to let me know if it is closed or open. last i heard they were revonating it. Travel Tips The renovations are complete and it's open. It's been open for a year now at least. The only renovations going on right now in Florida's Disney World are on The Haunted Mansion and the ride in the giant globe at Epcot. You can find out all about ride closings and rehabs (including resort buildings and pools) at www.allearsnet.com Others I can't find any information that this is currently closed. http://www.intercot.com/infocentral/cale... It was closed for about 12 months about a year and a half ago -- but it is open now!! They completely updated the ride, and made it look a bit more like the original Disneyland version of the ride. It was open in November 07, but my understanding is that it was newly renovated. So I guess they are done. I was there in March 07 and it was open. I haven't read anything about it being closed. I leave for Disney World the week after Thanksgiving. Can't wait. This ride is the theme of Disney World, besides updating I could not imagine them ever closing it. |
