What can I expect at Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure/CityWalk?

Travel Info
I've tried doing some research but haven't really found much. But my bf and I will be there from july 9th - 19th. What can we expect at the theme parks as far as rides and stuff, appropriate attire, what not to bring, tips in general, etc. Also, we're both 19 and was wondering how the night life is in Orlando, where are good places to go--we like to dance. We bought an unlimited 7-day 2 park ticket with free access to CityWalk. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Travel Tips
Universal Orlando Resort offers a truly unique and amazing experience for you to enjoy. With both of you being in your teens, you are definitely going to enjoy both Theme Parks and City Walk. Universal Studios has many Movie-Themed rides and shows, such as Jaws, Men In Black, The Mummy, Terminator, Earthquake and many more. Plus, it has the Fear Factor show based on the hit TV Series where the actual public can compete and win prizes!.
Islands of Adventure is where most of the action is at. Has many great thrill-rides that you will defnitiely enjoy, including The Hulk, Dueling Dragons, Amazing Adventures of Spider Man, Ripsey Falls, and many more!. Then at night, you have City Walk, a great experience as well where you can Dine, Shop and Dance! Its a great thing that you got that Unlimited 7-day 2 park ticket with City Walk. Its definitely worth its price and you will get to enjoy the attractions again and again.
There is a good variety of clubs in City Walk, with all of them closing at 2am. There are also other clubs in the Orlando area, including Pleasure Island and Church Street. All about a 20minute ride from the Universal Area. If you have your own transportation is great, however not recommendable for when you go dancing. Although Pleasure Island does not charges for parking, the Police are very watchful about drivers leaving the clubs, and you wouldn't want your vacation to be ruined with a DUI, then again you are both 19 so it wouldn't affect you too much. However, I recommend taking a taxi to and back from the clubs, that way you can both relax and enjoy your vacation rather than worrying about how to get there. Clubs at Pleasure Island are about $21 per Adult and it includes all clubs, whereas clubs in Church Street are based on per club.

both parks are great if you like roller coasters and thrill rides. They also have lots of shows and street performances. I don't think i would have gone for the 7 day pass, you will probably get through both parks in two days but thats up to you. the only thing i can suggest you bring is a wallet with lots of $$$ or credit and sun screen. It will be very hot a humid and we get rain just about every afternoon. Wear shorts and comfy shoes and i try to get some non-cotton socks. Cotton will cause your feet to sweat and you'll get blisters. you can get them at any sporting good store.
City walk is mainly restaurants and shops during the day but at night all the clubs open and it a big party. Also check out Down Town Disney while you're there. If you need more suggestions feel free to email me. I live in Florida and go to Orlando all the time.
I loved City Walk. Dinner and dancing in any of the restaurants and clubs for $20.
The park was great too.
They are both great!
Many thrill rides and rollar coasrers, but a good amount of rides for younger kids as well.
City Walk has great places to eat and great Night Life.
I wouldn't wear sneakers or jeans to Islands of Adventure..because chances are you will get soaked!

Have a great time! You will love it!
Great rides but the service and friendliness does not match Disney's
