What to carry in a fanny pack for Magic Kingdom (Orlando)? |
Travel Info What would I need besides money ......plz help.....sunblock...ect? Travel Tips Try to keep it lite, but have everything in it that you will need. I do agree that a backback would be easier to get your stuff in than a fanny pack. Sunblock is the most important thing, you will definitely be using a lot of it, so have a good size bottle. You may want to buy a big bottle and then have a keychain clip one that you can keep refilling as you need to. That way you will have plenty for the trip but won't have to carry the whole bottle all the time. A hat, you may not use it, but when it gets really hot, it can block the sun and cool you down a little. Sunglasses You can go to the store and buy those things they sell on tv. You stick them in water and then you can put them around your neck to cool you down. Don't really know if they work, but they seem to be popular. If you want to save money, you can bring some snacks or water bottles. Snacks that break too easy may not be the best idea, unless you don't mind, but there are tons of options. You could bring an empty water bottle and fill it as you need it, so you don't have the extra weight in the bag. You can also just ask for a cup of water at the restaurants, they give a pretty large cup and lots of ice, so it is a little more refreshing than what you get from the fountain, but if you bring your own bottle you don't have to wait in line. Rain ponchos or umbrellas. Usually the rain in Orlando is pretty quick and you can just hop in a store for a few minutes until it passes. If you don't mind staying out in it, or you have some ponchos or an umbrella to get to the next thing you want to do. Ponchos are nice cause they usually weigh less and fold right up, but they can be hard to get back in your back (in a small size anyway) umbrellas good because they just fold up really easy. You may want to bring a bag or something to put them in so they don't get everything else wet. Anything you may needd for your hair, i.e. a travel hair brush or rubberbands to hold your hair up. When you are in the humidity of Florida, your hair sticks to your face and it is very uncomfortable. Your camera. Be sure that it will be okay, maybe put it in another little case or something. If you have digital, have extra cards, if you have film, have extra film. Any other electronics you may need, iPod, cell phone, etc. Again, make sure they will be protected. Something that you can use to clean your hands. I usually bring hand santizer, wet naps work as well. You can just wash your hands in the bathroom, but is nice to be able to avoid the lines. Tissue is a good idea as well. Lots of money ;-) Be sure to have money in a few places in case some gets lots. A little for each person, some in your and maybe some in the room. Any paperwork that you may need. Any confirmations you got for your trip, tickets, maps, schedules, etc. so you have it all in one place. A pen. You don't know when or if you will need it, but it is always a good idea to have one handy just in case. I would say this is most of the basic things you will need. Just consider anything else you may need, but most things you can buy once you get there if you have to. As for a backback, you can get just about anything. I usually replace mine after each trip because it goes through quite a beating in the parks. So, if you want to save a little money, you don't really need to get the best bag. Try to find something that will have good support for your back, but is still flexible so you can get it one rides and things. Also, be sure to look for a bag that has several areas to put things. One area can be for snacks, one for papers, etc. That way you have plenty of space to put everything, but also, everything is organized so it is pretty easy to get what you need and you aren't searching all day. Always be sure to put your info on the bag in case it would get lost, you may get lucky and someone return it. Well, I think this pretty much covers the basics. Have a great time! Others Sunblock, handi-wipes (for cleaning hands before you buy and eat the turkey legs or french fries), sunglasses, and your camera. I think you would be better off with a backpack. You def. need to bring ponchos (Sometimes it rains HARD with no warning). You won't be able to fit those in a fanny pack, plus backpacks look a lot better than fanny packs! whatever you want, but do not forget your fanny. First of all don't use a fanny pack they don't look that good use a backpack and you can puts everything you need in there and if you don't want to carry it all the time get some of the other people to carry it for you or put it in a locker for awhile Make sure you have money of course, but also pack sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat (or if you don't want to wear a hat, extra hair ties) a bandanna (so you can get it wet and cool off the back of your neck and face) hand wipes, kleenex, a camera (I wouldn't bring an expensive one, maybe get a disposable just for the trip in case it gets lost, stolen or broken) and an ID of some sort, that way if you get seperated from your party and something happens they will know who you are. Have fun! very simple.. if you solve this given problem, your problems will be solved automatically, but don't be selfish - its Natural Formula - becoz all problems are interlinked with each other.. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;... am I Wrong ?? |
