Is GatorLand in Orlando something that you would need to spend the whole day to see? |
Travel Info How much stuff is there to see and do? Would you really need to spend the whole 12 hours they are open? Is it worth going to? Travel Tips Wehn we went down last time, we spent our normal 3 days doing Disney things and then we allocating 2 days to seeing Florida's freakier wonders: our road trip included: 1. GatorLAnd 2. Dinosaur Park (we have a 6 year old and she LOVED it) 3. Weeki Wachee: home to the famous Weeki Wachi mermaids, complete with mermaid show, (underwater), and mermaid meet&greet. as well as a water park. Don't miss it, this is Florida at it's freak best! Here is the website: http://mermaid.weekiwachee.com/... Others Not the whole day, no. But you could stretch it out as long as you'd like depending on your interest. It just depends on how much of what they have to offer you want to see. You could only spend a few hours, or you could spend the whole day if you wanted to take your time. There is a lot of different things to see and if you want to learn more about gators and reptiles, I think it is well worth the visit. I do know some people that really didn't like it that much, but they really weren't in to the whole reptile thing, so it just depends on your interest. It's a fun park to visit. I would allow about 6 hours to see it all. There's no way you need the whole day! We spent a couple of hours and felt like we saw pretty much everything. If you wanted to read all the information and talk to some people and stuff like that, you could of course spend longer. I did enjoy it and it was a nice break from the theme park craziness! DONT GO!!!! its a very boring place and since they had the fire everything isnt open so there isnt that much to see there if you must go though it will only take a couple of hours to see if even that long I wouldn't waste any time going there. Try an air boat ride if you want to do something different. You may see alligators and other wildlife in it's natural environment. |
