Travel Info I am disabled can i park in disable spaces using my British Badges in or around the Orlando area? Travel Tips My wife who is disabled and myself have travelled to Florida many times, you can use your Blue Badge in America, sometimes the disabled parking is quite a long way from the entrances, if you can walk it is sometimes better to park in the normal car park area and get on one of the regular trams. We have parked in the Florida Mall car park and a few others. Others i cant see that working somehow - would an american disabled badge work in this country - no! the answer is No, as your British Blue badge, can only be used in Britain or any other European Country I'd suggest going to the Municipal or County courthouse and seeing if they can issue a temporary tag- you don't want to risk getting your vehicle towed. dont let these people tell you it will not work.you are disabled anywhere you go and not just in europe and britian. YES YOU CAN USE IT. I would say Yes.The Blue Badge Scheme is supposed to be universal, thats why we changed from the Orange Badge to the Blue Badge so that everyone who is entitled to can do so without prosecution. in any country. not anymore you have to pay $15 for a temp visitors pass http://www.askdaisy.net/orlando/park_upd... it explains all have a nice stay |
