Are orlando theme parks open all year round?

Travel Info
were planning on taking a holiday there... i was wandering if the theme parks, disneyworld, universal busch gardens etc... are open all year round or just in the hot busy summer months??

Travel Tips
All the theme parks in Orlando are opened all year long. The only thing is that at certain times of the year the parks are opened either later or close earlier due to crowd levels. Go on to the different sites and check out their calendars for when you are going. Also, as far as Disney is concerned, during the off times of the year, this is when they close certain attractions for refurbishments. They hardly close attractions during the busy months. Have fun and enjoy.

we have summer nearly all year round here (cause it's sub-tropical here) (except for a few weeks around December-January). So yes they are open, even if you wear your mufflers. But hey, those places are online...check there and maybe you can get some free tickets to stuff or even ask your travel agent for some freebies or discounts.
I'm 90 % sure that all parks are open 365 days of the year. Disney is DEFINATLY open 365 days of the year. (unless a natural disaster occurs)
Yes.
The Orlando theme parks are open every day of the year... a hurricane would have to almost hit directly on them before they will close their doors and lose a dime.. they might reopen as the eye passes over just to squeeze a little more from the tourists..

those suckers are open all the time... the only day they don't open or open late are dec 25th and jan 1st.
They are open all year round except one of the Disney water parks will close during the winter months (November through February) Two major rides at Disney World are being rehabilitated right now. The Haunted Mansion and the globe at Epcot. Closings are listed at www.allearsnet.com. Subscribe to the newsletter. If you are doing Disney and Universal, you will probably have enough to do without going all the way to Busch Gardens (unless you are a die hard fan for American beer...). Only put it on your to do list if you are staying two weeks. It can be very cool in December and January. We have had short sleeve shirt days and hat/gloves/winter jacket days at that time. Other than Christmas week, the parks aren't crowded during those months. Contrary to one of the posts above, Christmas and New Years day, they actually open before the posted operating hours and then pack with people, usually full to capacity. If the park is full, they have to stop letting people enter the parking lot and go to the parks. Only people riding Disney's hotel buses can get in at that point. Avoid going the week from Christmas to New Years...
