What is the best US airport to fly into to go to Ottawa? |
Travel Info I don't have time to get a passport so I'll have to drive to Ottawa. Is Rochester the best airport to fly into or is there somewhere closer? Travel Tips Of more major airports: Buffalo-Niagara Falls, NY, or Burlington International in Vermont. In a couple of months Plattsburgh in NY will be open for a 3rd choice. Southwest flies into Buffalo; Jet Blue flies into Burlington, which tend to keep competitors fares low for each respectively. Our Ottawa friends, when they want to save taxes and fly from the US to another US destination, usually fly out of Burlington, but if they are taking advantage of a Southwest sale they will actually go to Albany (prettier drive). Others Syracuse, NY - Hancock Intl (SYR) Depends where you're coming from, Syracuse is the best major airport, but Watertown is closer. But the problem with Watertown is that it is only serviced by Northwest and only has flights in from 2 cities. |
