Is Central Park, Nepean, Ottawa a nice neighborhood?

Travel Tips
Do you mean 'nice' as in 'clean and safe,' or 'nice,' as in, 'nice place to live'?

It's just a pile of suburban houses. Newish, utterly unremarkable.

In a thoroughly boring suburban area.

Certainly clean and safe, and certainly quite dull. 'Big box' stores would be your main source of nearby entertainment, I'd say.
Others
I would agree with kmennie, but I would add a couple of factors.

Central Park, Nepean is across a four-lane road from a portion of the Central Experimental Farm, and as such, is close to bicycle and walking paths which many people value. If you're a walker, you could walk to grocery shopping, (yes at big stores). The Bank of Montreal is within walking distance, as are a couple of family restaurants. The area has good bus service to downtown.

If you prefer old, charming parts of a city, it wouldn't be for you.
