Travel Info i will be travalling to canada, ottowa, and later to montral . for 15 days i need to know about the temerature in ottowa as i am coming from egypt cairo, need toknow what to get ( warm or sumery) thanks, our winter in cairo is sunny and chilly . 10c at night at the most in the morning it can get to 18 Travel Tips I have to disagree slightly with the above poster - Ottawa in May is slightly warmer than that and the last time it snowed in Ottawa in May was eon's ago. The temperature's during the day can be a comfortable 22C and dropping down to 10C during the night. It's not unusual during May to have a very hot and sometime's humid day, so pack some summer clothing as well, :-). In May, we have a large Tulip Festival, million's of Tulips blooming of every colour - a gift from Holland to Ottawa during the 2nd World War. There are many other thing's to do, visit, take in, I hope your visit to Ottawa is a very nice one!! To be safe I would bring a warm coat however mostly spring clothes.
