Best tourist stuff to do in Ottawa, Ontario? |
Travel Info Going WITH MY PARENTS, so can't do the bar/music scene. Any other suggestions? Been to Parliament, Museum of Civilization and Museum of Aviation already. Hopefully someone knows of some other great venues we can check out (on a budget). Thanks! Travel Tips Go to the art gallery... it's amazing, plus the gift shop is probably the best museum gift shop that I have ever seen. Also, last summer we went to the Governor General's residence... it was actually quite interesting - they do a small tour of part of the building. Try to find the Diefenbunker... we tried, but ran out of time - we had to go home. I think it's outside of town somewhere - sorry don't know where. Others I love the byward market downtown... It is a great place to window shop... I was also at the museum of science and technology. It was ok but not the greatest museum... |
