Can you see whales in canada (near ottawa)?

I am going to Toronto and Ottawa in Cananda in the summer and I was wondering if I would be able to see any whales in the wild?

Not unless you are prepared to drive a good 7 - 8 hours or so - east of Quebec City there are tours into the St. Lawrence (for example, in Riviere-du-Loup).

Um... look at Ottawa on a map. You can see whales in Canada but nowhere near Ottawa. You'd have to be a good 1000km away on either the Pacific or the Atlantic coast.
