How is Ottawa?

Travel Tips
Ottawa is increadibly awesome. It is the greatest city in the world. If you are visiting:there is alot to do. It's like travelling to Washington without the murder rate and the bad atmosphere. You can go to the Museum of Civilization, Parlement Buildings, National Art Gallery. There is something for everyone. If you want to live there. The people are very nice and you can get a decent house for reasonable money. Visit or live! It's great.

The greatest City in the world. There are many things to do here in Ottawa and that will keep you busy. Also, lots of history like PM Residence House, Governor General Official Residence, and so many other fun things to do.

It's WONDERFUL. I just moved away from there after four years and I miss it so much. It's a large city, but has a small town feel. People are friendly and the city is beautiful.
Ottawa is a town/village masked as a city.

It is boring if you are young or if you love nightlife, culture and excitement. Very little for kids to do in terms of theme parks and fun parks like wild water kingdom, canada's wonderland, ontario place etc., but it has lots of ball parks though.

Ottawa is great if you want out of the big city like Toronto, low crime rate (although high theft rate), not as multicultural like Toronto or Vancouver. No jobs unless you work for the government or you own your own business and even harder if you are considered a minority. Ottawa has great parks, great universities (2), many museums, bike paths (amazing), good pubs - not many great restaurants.

Big allergen city, cold in winter and humid in the summer, cuz it is a valley, asthma rate is high.

Best of all there is a Tim Horton's on every street - well practically.
Unbearably cold in the winter.

Its a nice city- lots of young people since it's a university town. Not much of a nightlife compared to Toronto or Montreal. It's a big city with a small-town feel, really.
The Byward market is nice and it's great in the summer.
Lived there for 4 years.
