Travel Info Im thinking of Moving to Canada..What are the best places to live in Ontario and Montreal? Travel Tips I live in Niagara Falls, though I also have a cottage between Fort Erie and Port Colbourne- these are all nice places, I think. But if I were to reccomend a place that I think looks really nice to live in, it would be Saint Catherines. A very nice city in Ontario that has a lot of stuff to do and is near a lot of other cool places. Others Neither. Vancover is the Best. Although French is the official language, English is spoken almost exclusively there, got more art, things to do, better jobs and wonderful views. Think about it. Mississauga is a really good place in Ontario, and has the feel of a small town while it is actually a large city. It has a great transport system. It also has good schools. Are you looking for big cities or towns. Montreal is lovely. I live in Ontario and there are some nice cities and towns, depending what you are interested in. Toronto is nice, large has everything you are looking for. It has a subway system. London Ontario is nice, closer to the US border. Not as large as Toronto but still has its own self contained transit system (buses). If you are looking for towns, I know a few, add a little more to your question. Good Luck and happy moving. I can give you great places in Ontario.... If you want more expensive but in the centre of everything then you go with Toronto. Do some serious research on property though cause there are super nice places and then there are ghetto places as well... Milton is a beautiful place, cheap and suburban... It is about a 30 minute drive from Toronto... Brampton is ok... It's heavily populated and very multicultural.. Again, some very nice parts and then some not so nice ones... If you want to go out East, then you have Ajax and Whitby which are great. Kingston or Peterborough which are also nice... Ottawa and its suburbs are beautiful and pretty inexpensive... Out West you have St Catherines (near the US boarder) beautiful and a wine county.... You have London and Sarnia which are close to the Detroit boarder...Also beautiful and cheap... If you want to know more, then google Ontario.... There are so many different pages for each region! Have fun with it and good luck! Depends what you're into. Ontario is a big place, ranging from wild hot spots in Toronto, through big business/industrial from Toronto- Windsor, big IT around Ottawa, lots of wide open rugged lands with sparse population in the North, California type farming in various areas around the south. Just a correction, St. CathArines in ontario is spelled with an "A" eh! |
