Airline security question? |
Travel Info I prefer to pack all of my items, clothes included, in (clear) plastic bags when I travel. Is this acceptable for NON-CARRY ON luggage? Or will they have trouble searching my suitcase when it's packed this way? Also, I'm not sure if this matters, but it's from Philly to Orlando. Travel Tips As long as you do not include any dis-allowed items 'they' don't care what you pack, or how you pack it for hold luggage. Technically, clear plastic bags would be beneficial to searchers, so you would be doing them a favor. Others I always pack my things in ziplock bags because I prefer not to have them touching my clothes or personal items and I've never had a problem with it. I use the vacuum pack clear plastic bags when packing. I have had no issue with using these bags. Checked luggage is checked by xray. If the luggage needs to be hand checked then the bags will be opened. You should not have any problems. They will most likely undo the plastic bags anyway, so I wouldn't even bother with them. |
