Shipping electronic equipment safely?

We regularly ship electronic equipment (computers, monitors, etc) around the country. All of the equipment is built into flight cases and many of them weigh 100lbs. FedEx keeps losing and/or destroying the packages. There has got to be a better way!

Any suggestions fo how to regularly and cost-effectively ship electronics without damaging them? It doesnt need to be super cheap, but it does need to be reasonable.

Travel Tips
Use the popcorn styrofoam or the custom shaped stuff.
