For example a cross section of a toaster would be a drawing of half a toaster thus showing its insides. 1. a section made by a plane cutting anything transversely, esp. at right angles to the longest axis. (dictionary.com, lol) A cross section is where an item is displayed as if it were cut in two so you can see the inside or inner workings of the item that you normally would not see if it were all assembled. |
