Can you put a bottle of Jack Daniel's in your luggage when flying? |
Travel Info Wanted to take a bottle with me in my luggage not carry-on. Travel Tips As long as you are of legal age to possess the alcohol it is perfectly legal to take a bottle in your checked luggage. Just pack it securely and wrap in bubble wrap. Pack the bottle so that when your suitcase is upright, so is the bottle. It will be more stable that way and less likely to get broken. Since it is now legal to lock your checked bags I suggest that you do. Others no because there people who put drugs in there and they will probably think you did the same thing. no. since the "security crisis" they check every bag, no liquids are allowed...unless they are in travel size in a clear plastic baggy....they still might take it away tho Yes - you can pack a bottle of Jack Daniels in your checked luggage - make sure that you have it wrapped in a towel or bubble wrap - which can be removed in case your luggage is opened for inspection Sure. As long as its in the luggage they dont care. A suggestion - put the bottle itself in a Zip Lock Bag and seal it. Put rubber bands on the top and bottom to keep it in place. Wrap the in a plastic grocery bag. Put that bag inside another plastic bag with some socks or something else soft and absorbant with it and close that bag up. Put that final bag in another bag yet once again. This way, even if it leaks - or breaks, it will just leak into the socks or whatever you put in there, and the extra bag layers will prevent spillage into the rest of your luggage. This is the way I package liquids in my luggage - and even with some minor leakage, nothing has ever spilled out of all those layers, so nobody is ever the wiser that I ever had anything liquid in there, or that anything ever leaked out. |
