Do I need my passport if I fly in the US? |
Travel Info I am about to go to South Carolina from New York, but i dont have a passport. Can i go on the air plane if i dont have a passport but have my green card and my social security card? please help me out. Travel Tips not if you are flying in the us unless you are not a citizen, and even then your green card will probably work. call the airport you are leaving from. Others yes you do because you are not an American citizen and a foreigner you will be treated in the same manner as we are in your country. you dont need a passport unless you leave the united states a pass port is for flying out of teh u.s only.. to fly from n.y. to n.c .. you'll definetly need some kind of photo i.d. youshoudl bring your green card and your s.s card incase not yet you don't. You may need a birth certificate or picture ID like a drivers license no, you only need a passport if you're going out of the country. flying from ny to sc is still flying in the country. passports are for international travel |
