Do you bring your laptop or blackberry along on vacation? |
Travel Info For all you workaholics out there.. I do bring my laptop, but it's more for watching movies and checking up on news :-P Travel Tips yes to both..but i limit the time spent on them..an hour at night..you are after all on vacation Others I do bring my laptop but more to stay in touch with my family not for work. I bring my psp wherever i just returned from GA i was there for a week...........my laptop was packed along with all my other NEEDS!!!! That would depend on how long im gone for and where I will be staying and what im doing. If im going overseas, im leaving everything at home. If im going somewhere in the US and staying with friends or what not, and I know that I wont be doing much of traveling, I will take it with me, mostly for the plane ride though. But now that I have an Ipod I usually just bring that with me since the computer is mostly for music. If im going to a friends place, then I know i can use their computer, unless im going to a hotelt hen yeah i'll bring a laptop to surf if im bored. :) My wife and I bring the laptop on vacations and trips 'cause she is a senior programmer and analyst for her company, and occasionally they need to ask her help on a problem nobody else in the company can quite deal with. She can log in to work remotely and connect with her desktop there and take care of problems within minutes. The boss always acknowledges her contributions when she does this, and at year's end, her bonus check always reflects her going the extra mile. Me - I use it for e-mail when she's done. keep it at home vacation is to get away from every thing no worries |
