Light and tight traveling....? |
Travel Info Is there a way to pack a tuxedo inside a suitbag without it getting wrinkled a lot? I have to travel light and I don't have a garmentbag. Please, any suggestion is good. I leave in 2 days! :O Travel Tips Your best bet is to go online to find a dry cleaners at your destination so that you can have the tux pressed/steamed when you arrive. For your second best bet, here are directions for packing the tux. - To fold the tuxedo jacket, hold the center of the collar at the top with your left hand so that the back of the jacket is facing you. Fold the right side back to the coats middle seam. Grab the right sleeve by the inside lining at the shoulder seam and pull it out so that the shoulder is inside/out. Then tuck the left shoulder into the right inside/out shoulder. They should fit together snugly. Fold the jacket in half - from top to bottom not side to side. I'd suggest folding or rolling the pants over another pair of slacks to avoid tight crease-marks. Good luck and happy travels! |
