What do I need to do with my car before leaving for 3 month vacation ?

Travel Info
I have a concern about my car before I leave for 3-month vacation. I live in a apartment in which there are slots for parking infront of the apartment (aka not in garage). I feel unsure about leaving the car there for 3 months, and wonder if maybe there's any garage space rental that I can leave my car and not to worry while on vacation. Or any suggestion ?
One more thing, should I do anything such as take the battery out, change the oil....to my car before leaving ?
Please help!
Thanks in advance...!

Travel Tips
Wash and have the car waxed. Remove the battery and place it in a cool, dry location. Spray the posts with terminal protector. Fill the fuel tank and add Stabil to the tank to prevent the fuel from going stale (a full tank prevents condensation from forming in the tank). Check the air pressure in the tires and top off if needed. I would change the oil, to prevent moisture buildup from causing any internal rust. I would store the car at a storage facility myself, to prevent vandalisim or theft.
Remove any vauables and remove the stereo faceplate if possible.

You can rent a storage shed and leave it there. If you have a friend that could start it every week that would be best. If not check with the manufacturer for their recommendations. It should be fine as is. Have fun
Hi Lucky
I think you should Take out the removeable things & should keep it in your house .Cover your car properly and and make it tied with some pillar or strong structure with the help of chain.
Do left a freshner in your car so that when you came back your car should not smell bad!!!!!!!!!!!
I am not sure about where you live, but in California there are storage facilities where you can store your car. I would not leave my car at an apartment complex for such a long period of time. I would suggest leaving the car with someone you can trust though. That way the person can start the car up every couple of weeks and keep it running and you won't spend a fortune at a storage company.
Check out publicstorage.com.. That's what I am doing this summer, they gave me a good deal on large indoor storage for my car.
leave it at a friends, ask them to turn over the engine once a week.
