Can you bring shampoo on a plane trip? |
Travel Info Can you bring shampoo on a plane trip? Travel Tips Yes you can bring shampoo with you on the aircraft, if you choose to pack the shampoo in your checked luggage it can be any size. If you choose to pack the shampoo in your carry on luggage it must be 3 oz. or less and pack in a 1 qt. clear zip lock bag. You can get the complete list of what is and is not allowed in you luggage at the TSA website http://www.tsa.gov/ Source(s): https://www.jets.com/private_jets.aspx... http://www.legfind.com/sitemap.aspx?site... Other Travel Tips If it is less than 3 oz. you can put it in your carryon. If not, it has to be in the luggage. AS ALWAYS......UNDER 3OZ!!!! If you are going to carry your luggage on board, you have to have the shampoo in a container that is 3 oz or less, and you have to put it and any other containers with liquids in a Ziploc bag. Then you have to take the Ziploc bag out of your luggage when it goes through the X ray machine. If you are going to check your bags, you can bring any size of course. I just flew this past weekend and I had to get escorted out of line because some of my toiletries were too large and they weren't all in a Ziploc bag. It was super embarrassing! Don't let it happen to you! They definitely aren't joking around. The lady next to me got stopped and all she had was a tiny bottle of foundation. She had to go back to the beginning of the line (which was long) and get a Ziploc bag for it. best thing is to check your luggage and you can take your shampoo/toiletries in your checked baggage yes.... in your carry-on bag NO! |
