Will my contacts in my checked baggage be ok going through all the machines at the airport? |
Travel Info also i was wondering if some of these things were ok to take in my carry on baggage. my extra contacts, pens/pencils, other stupid stuff i might have in my purse. Also, will the x-ray machine thing affect my digital camera at all? Travel Tips The contacts will be fine. Probably most of your "stupid stuff" will be fine, although be sure your contact lens solution is in a 3 oz. bottle in a separate zip lock bag. The machine will not affect your digital camera. Others Your contacts will be ok, but if your luggage gets lost or arrives on a later flight, you will be without your contacts...... Contacts should be carried on, if your baggage gets lost or delayed you are up the creek without a paddle. The camera will be ok. Check online with airline and there is a guide to what you can carry on. They will take anything unacceptable away. Your contacts will be fine in both your checked luggage and your carry on. The xray will not affect your digital camera at all but you should be prepared to turn it on just in case the screener is being picky and wants to see that it works. Take your rewetting drops as a carryon, your contacts will be fine for chek in, leave all non essentials in your suitcase. Maybe bring one pen.
