Travel Tips ge a skateboard back pack that has straps on the back where you cn put ur board... thats what i did when flew to cancun. my friend didnt have a skateboard back pack so he un screwed his trucks and put histrucks in his bag and just caried his board. the security will make you put your screwdrver in your checked bag or they will take it away( they think u will stab someone with it) Source(s): experience Other Travel Tips I doubt they will let you carry it onto the plane, b/c they are so strict about size of objects you carry on. As a general rule, if it will fit under the seat of the plane, you can carry it on. If not, simply pack it as luggage you will check. They don't mention skateboards anywhere. Huh.
