Is the a size restriction with Thomas cook for checked baggage? |
Travel Info Im soon going to be flying with thomas cook, but will be taking a very large sports holdball bag instead of a suitcase. its light, but has lots of big, lightweight items inside. Does it matter how big the bag is, it doesnt weigh more than 15kg Travel Tips no...my suitcase was HUGE...as long as it doesnt exceed the 15 or 20kgs weight allowance ...you will be ok. Others you are allowed 15k now plus 5k hand luggage ,, but if when you check in at the desk ask for extra allowance for Sporting equipment,, this can give you up an extra 10k depending on what the gear is, the size of the bag does not matter its the weight that checked, i travel often and take scuba gear with me and ask for the extra 10k which as yet have never been refused for short flights its 20 kilos and long flights no more than 50 kilos otherwise its chargable |
