NEW YORK..PLEASE ANSWER THIS...please?

i live in KY and this friday i'm leaving for new york. the 9th grade is going (who ever signed up.) and i didn't know when to pack i'm guessing it will take 2 days but i could get it done in 1. i get out of school wednesday. But what day should i pack and what are some things i could bring to do in the ride there?? cause it's a LONG drive! ALSO anything to pack just to wear/use in NY.

1- when do i pack
2- what should i bring to do during the drive
3- anything else i should bring in my actual suitcase.

i would pack what you like to wear and start packing this tues/wed. so you can go slowly if you want. bring games/ cards/ a book. new york is awsome but dangerous, dont bring anything too expernsive unless your wearing it. try not to carry to many things because you can lose track and lose it.

it doesnt matter when you pack, pack whenever
its been like 90 degrees in new york bring early spring cloth but also bring summer clothe
and buy a psp and some games it will keep you accupied for 300 bucks
Make sure you have something to wear for 90 degree weather and for 50 degree weather, it really could be either. For the ride, just bring stuff you enjoy doing, and if you like reading a couple of books.

get used to not having a purse i can tell you that much. its way too crowded and you can get lost, pick pocketed, and with the wrong people if you just turn around and turn back, make sure you're careful. its not a bad city, its just that its crowded and you never know who you're walking next to. and i highly advise you bring a camera cuz its so beautiful downtown.
