Does anyone know a list of good things to take on travels? |
Travel Info I need to know a good prepared list of important things to take with me on travels. Travel Tips Cleaning stuff (soap, toothbrush, etc....) Medicines A good book Lot of underwear At least clothes for 3 more days than your original plan Cash Credit card Others Medicine, a bag with a lock, Your passport, travelers checks, camera, batteries, a foreign language dictionary 1) Swiss Army knife (pack in checked luggage) 2) First Aid kit (small and light) 3) Towel (refer to The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy for why) 4) Extra socks (trust me) Personal experience travelling around Europe. It depends on where you are going. Pack clothes that will work well in the climate you will be in, and appropriate for the season. When traveling to a warm place, don't forget a sunblock and at least 2 sets of swimwear. Always get one pair of long pants, no matter where you go. If you travel outside of your home country don't forget the passport. Bringing a small first aid kit is also a good idea, take your camera so you can take pics and always get some sensible shoes as you may be doing lots of walking. Me- traveled to Europe and South America many times. Passport & International drivers licence Medications and letter from doctor if necessary. Change of clothes in cabin bag (precautionary) Book/ipod - not all flight movies are great Camera Sunglasses Cash for cab and tipping |
