I am going on vacation to Florida. I need some ideas to add to my checklist please? |
Travel Info I always make a checklist so i dont forget anything and this time i really cant forget anyting cuz ill be away for 2 weeks, so if u have any ideas or anything, it will be appreciated, thanks -bindorski Travel Tips Don't forget the sunscreen! Others Need to make sure you have all bills up to date, put a hold on your mail, so there is not a pile up of mail in your mail box, if you get the newspaper delivered, have them put it on hold til you get back, so there is not a pile up of papers. Make sure you have the code to your home answering machine so that you can check your messages from a remote phone. Make sure that your creidt card companies and your bank know that you are going on vacation. because some of them will make notice of a lot of transactions in a single day (purchasing numerous souvinears) and put a stop to your purchases. If you let them know you are on vacation, they will have a heads up that there will be numerous purchases happening at once. A timer for your lights might be a good thing as well. Florida is an expensive place depending on where you go. sometimes the best bet is to go outside the city limits to get the cheaper hotel price. (ex. Orlando near the theme parks are expensive, drive an extra 10 minutes away from the last theme park and the prices normally drop about 30 dollars) 1) Sunblock lotion 2)a hat 3) sunglasses 4) lightweight clothing: shorts, T-shirts etc 5)underwear and pajamas or lingerie 6)toiletries: toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss, shampoo and conditioner, deodorant, hairbrush, (soap?) most hotels give soaps but I like my own brand 6)a good pair of walking shoes, flipflops or waterproof footwear for the beach, a pr of "dress" shoes, in case you want to go to a nice Restaurant to eat 7) a dress for a nice evening out, in case you want to go to that special restaurant. 8) a camera to store the memories 9) an alarm clock , if you need to wake up at a certain time to be on time to join others in your group? I guess that's about it! Where are you coming from? That might make a difference. |
