Travel Info What is the smallest amount of sleep you can get by on and still function normally? Travel Tips Well, for a small period of time (finals week) I can get by with about five hours the entire week. I can't do that for an extended period though and I need about two pots of coffee a day and night to function normally. For longer periods of time I need about four hours at the bare minimum. I once went 8 days with about 2 hours of sleep and I started having black outs and yelling at people without knowing what I was doing. I think that was over doing it. Others like 6 hours. my guess would be about 6 hrs 4 to 5 hours. You could say that I am weak. i would say 4 hours and by drinking about two cups of dark coffee! 4-5hrs. I've made it on 3 {making luv all nite} but was miserable after finishing work that day. you can't really answer this question b/c everyone is different....some people require only 4 hrs of sleep to function in the morning...others require a lot more like 8...it varies from person to person...i guess you just have to learn from expierience! i usually requre about 6-7 hours of sleep to function normally...i can function a little bit with 4 but there is a crash period |
