Can I bring things in containers larger than 3oz in my LUGGAGE? |
Travel Info I understand that I can't bring items in containers larger than 3oz as carry on, but can I bring them in my luggage? I use a natural toothpaste that isn't packed in travel-size tubes. Can I not bring it or is it OK if it's in my luggage (not carry-on)? Travel Tips It is okay to bring larger quantities in check-thru luggage. Before you pack, go to google and type in the name of the airport you will be flying from. You should find a list there of all check-in procedures and items allowed in carry-on. Have a nice trip. You might want to put that in a smaller container like a condiment container from tupperware wilotchka. They might think you're carrying a jar of plastique otherwise. Good to hear from someone 'naturally native'. Have travelled everywhere by air with all kinds of items in checked in luggage. They dont bother about shampoos and toothpaste and nail scissors and the like in your checked in bag as its not with you on the flight. In the carry on you have to have all liquids and creams in 3oz bottles in a plastic see through bag and give it in for scanning. I dont bother to go through that hassle and just dump everything in the checked in suitcase. Heck, if I have bad breath after my flight because of all these restrictions who cares! Its not my problem!! |
