Any idea about hand luggage restrictions? to Vietnam? |
Travel Info Hiya, I'm flying to Vietnam (via Korea) and wondered what I can take as hand luggage (Jetset airlines) I've heard you can only take a bag that is transparent? is this true!? thanks, Luke Flegg Travel Tips I regularly travel to Saigon and have had the same carry on for years. It is slightly over sized, weighs about a hundred pounds when loaded (they never weigh carry ons) and contains all of my valuables as well as heavy items that I am bringing over. It's a dark blue, "rugged cargo" brand that I bought at a discount store. I have family in Vietnam so I am always at the weight limit for stowed luggage. (lots of toys and gifts) I don't know where you are starting your trip from, but there are private showers at the transit hotel in Seoul International that cost about $8 usd. If you have a long flight into Seoul, the showers are well worth the money. Enjoy your trip ! Others No, not true. We flew in Vietnam last year and we had just backpacks as carry-ons. If you want to be extra sure, I'd check with the airline itself, but we didn't have to take clear carry-ons on any of our flights in, out, and around Vietnam. |
