Hold Luggage?

Travel Info
Does anybody know how much you get charged extra if your Hold luggage is more then the weight on your ticket? This is from manchester airport (UK)

Travel Tips
Depends on the airline, we went to Cuba last year from Manchester airport on a Thomas Cook flight and our hand luggage was well over, it wasn't weighed and we've just come back from Australia and done 8 flights in all between getting there and doing internal flights and I have to say our hand luggage wasn't weighed once by anyone, not even at Manchester airport where we flew from, hope your lucky and manage to get away without having yours weighed too.
Others
It varies between airlines.
It depends on the route, the airline policy and the loading on that particular flight. The way most airlines are cutting back on costs right now, the best policy is to pack light and try to keep under the weight allowance on your ticket.
If they have a website, check it. There is probably a limit written on there.
have you checked out thompson website? It depends on the airline, not the airport. Also the cheaper airlines tend to charge more.
