Others 24 hours, thats if you have no luggage going underneath the plane and only have 1 carry on. Most airlines let you check in online as early as 24 hours before. You'll have to check your airport to see what the rules are for check-in at the specific airport/airline counter. I mostly use Southwest and American Airlines and check-in online. On Southwest I check in as soon as I hit 24 hours before my flight, because that puts me in the A line. There is no seating chart on Southwest so they board by groups. Getting into the B line is okay, C is the last. They do have pre-board as well. If you are on an airline like American that has assigned seats, you can check in online or at the gate and it won't affect you. Two hours 30 minutes - the standard of international flight |
