What do i really need to bring to warped tour? |
Travel Info i really dont have a backpack to bring so keep it to the necesities. Travel Tips money so you can buy whatever you need! Simple, easy, and it fits really nicely in your pocket. ~Gabrielle Others make sure that you have sunglasses cause it gets bright outside obviously and a waterbottle and your phone and if it doesnt have a camera on it bring one! but all in all keeping it simple will allow you to enjoy more cause you won't have to carry a bunch of stuff and worry about it! tho getting a small nike back pack or something is a good idea theyre like 10-15 bucks at the mall! well don't bring too much so you don't have to lug everything around all day. go buy a drawstring bag that you can wear on your back (easy, and no one can take anything out of it when it's on your back). basically, just bring a good amount of money (drinks, food, tshirts, etc.). bring a water bottle or 2, it gets really hot and water is really expensive there. bring your cell phone in case you cant find the person you came wtih, which happens quite often. or if you want to see different bands and meet up later. bring a camera if you want (although some places dont allow them). maybe bring a small snack cause you'll be there awhile. i would wear a tank top because its so hot, and put on sunscreen a head of time - you get really burnt. you might want sunglasses and/or a hat too. that's basically it I totally agree with Exclamation Point man. Those drawstring backpacks are the best. If you're driving in your own car or a friends throw an extra-shirt in the trunk because at the end of the day your shirt's gonna be dirty, smelly, and wet. Nobody wants to drive home like that. Throw a cooler with water and soda in the trunk as well. Also leave a little money in your glove compartment box in case you blew it all inside and forgot that you need to get gas or food. Put on sunscreen before you go and wear a hat that you wouldn't mind losing. Other then that bring: 1. money 2. car keys 3. phone 4. chapstick 5. ATM card in case you need more money 6. A permanent marker or pen so you can write down the line-up when you get there and avoide making annoying trips back to the board because you forgot what time the bands are playing 7. If you're going with the drawstring backpack then snacks are a good idea. The one's that I usually take are those gummy fruit packs and rice krispy treats. You might think that's a stupid idea but trust me you'll get tired of buying the expensive food that they have there. Your friends might laugh at first but by mid-day they'll be asking you for some. That's pretty much it. Leave important things like your wallet and license in the locked glove compartment of your car and make sure you've got a spare set of car keys somewhere so you're not totally screwed if you lose the one's you're carrying. PS. Zippered pockets are best if you decide not to go with the drawstring pack |
