Will labtops get damaged or digital cameras ruined at airport security? |
Travel Info Will anything happen to my labtop hardrive or digital camera memory when they go through the security scanners? Travel Tips No they should be fine - I always travel with both items and have never had an issue. They only thing that they require you to do is to take the laptop out and put in a bin by itself. Other Travel Tips Quick and short answer NO. The scanners won't hurt your camera or laptop, but don't forget to take them with you when you leave the security area. A surprising number of people forget them. No! my ipod didn't break and i asked before hand. they will not if they are placed in the boxes gently. i put in a digital camera in and it was ok. also,in first class, i saw people have laptops and used them No, they will be fine... security will ask that you take them out and place them in the little bin... but there wont be any damage. |
