What to pack????

im going to go to a camp in colorado for six weeks. im trying to start packing. could you please give me some suggestion of things that aren't nessarily on the packing list but would be good to have. thanx in advance.

bring bug spray,one of those switch knifes but the one with also tools in it,sun tan maybe, well depending on the weather bring those kind of clothes, a compass, map of the area, sleeping bag, bring some medicine(just in case), bring a lighter(just in case you might need to do a help signal), if you have a phone that can get a signal bring it BUT don't use it!!!keep it off at all times except in emergency, make sure you also have a whistle(just in case you get lost you can let people know where you are.......also be SAFE!!!!!!if you are unsure don't eat unknown stuff!!!!!!but either then that have FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

Take zip lock bags. You'll need them to protect some of your close/personal items if it rains.

I am from Colorado Springs, Colorado and what you pack depends on the season. The only holiday that guarantees no snow is July 4. So pack for cold weather if you are going during Spring, Fall, or Winter. It rarely rains in Colorado so you don't need to bring a rain coat. So if you come in Summer you should pack sunscreen, bug repellent, shorts, and a few t-shirts. If your coming during another season I would pack for cool or freezing weather (pack a WARM coat).
