Are you allowed to put bottles or cans of drinking alcohol in your luggage when boarding a plane? |
Travel Info I'm flying out of state for vacation this summer and i was wondering if it is legal to put beer or liquor in your suitcase(not carry on) on the plane. Others yes. has to be sealed though, although i did take a half drunk bottle of scotch in my luggage, they just looked at it for a while then said ok. you should be fine as long as its sealed. if im not worng i dont think so cuz its liquid and they give u liquid on the plane but go head and try it if u want to my mom had wine in her carry-on because she didn't want it to break. right before we went through security she remembered about how you can't take it with you on carry-on so she had to go back and pack it in a box and not take it as a carry on cuz we already checked our luggage! so i think you can bring it in your checked luggage but it might break in there so you should probably put it in a box with a lot of stuffing then put it thought checked luggage separately. thursday Not a problem, but pack it carefully and make sure it's sealed in a waterproof container. |
